Collections Assistant, Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform proactive collection activities targeting customers with overdue payments

• Reach out to customers via phone and digital channels

• Determine the causes of nonpayment and explore solutions to address outstanding debts

• Negotiate payment amounts, terms, and deadlines

• Oversee negotiated agreements until full settlement is achieved

• Follow up consistently with delinquent customers

• Document and update customer service and negotiation details in the system

• Strive towards collection goals and performance metrics

• Help reduce the company's delinquency rates

• Deliver professional, respectful, and solution-oriented service

• Proven experience in collections, negotiation, sales, customer service, customer support, call centers, or related fields

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Skilled in negotiation and adept at overcoming objections

• Persuasive and solution-focused mindset

• Capability to work with targets and performance metrics

• Organized and disciplined to work remotely

• Demonstrated proactivity and commitment

• Strong skills in follow-up and tracking

• Preferred: prior experience in proactive collections and delinquency recovery

• Preferred: background in financial negotiations

• Preferred: familiarity with CRM or management systems

• Preferred: experience delivering customer service via WhatsApp and phone

• Preferred: background in companies within the education sector

• Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Commission: 2% of the product’s total value for 1 to 11 sales

• Commission: 2.5% of the product’s total value for 12 to 15 sales

• R$800.00 bonus upon achieving 12 to 15 sales

• Commission: 3% of the product’s total value for 16 or more sales

• R$500.00 bonus upon reaching 21 sales
