Collections Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support to high-value SendTech clients by ensuring that billing and collections processes are both accurate and timely.

• Ensure client satisfaction by addressing their needs through collaboration with internal and external process partners.

• Resolve assigned transactions and address client concerns related to overdue balances.

• Collect past-due accounts across various lines of business.

• Correct billing discrepancies while upholding the integrity of client accounts in relevant systems.

• Conduct account cleansing tasks, including payment application and reconciliation, updating purchase orders and cost centers, consolidating billing, correcting invoices, updating inventory, and generating price quotes.

• Collaborate with invoicing, account maintenance, collections, and sales support teams.

• Address client inquiries and requests promptly.

• Foster working relationships across different Pitney Bowes business units.

• Organize and manage daily tasks to adhere to required timeframes.

• Complete additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in client service.

• Prior experience in collections, account management, and/or billing reconciliation is preferred.

• Strong time management skills.

• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities in a professional context.

• Capacity to work independently and prioritize scheduled daily tasks while also functioning effectively within a team environment.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Credit review will be included in the background screening process.

• Ability to work a scheduled 8.5-hour day shift Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM CST.
