CoC Manager – Western Europe, Americas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Regional Manager for Chain of Custody (CoC) overseeing Affiliates in Western Europe and the Americas.

• Accountable for quality assurance during audits.

• Deliver technical support for designated affiliates.

• Assist the Global Technical Manager in updating the CoC procedures and related documentation.

• Ensure that CoC accreditation standards are integrated into SGS procedures and effectively communicated to affiliates and auditors.

• Coordinate the technical assessment of CoC reports.

• Conduct Technical Internal Office Audits (Level 2) in accordance with the global audit schedule.

• Oversee quality management and monitor the performance of SGS-affiliated service providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education in Forest Management or Timber Engineering, or secondary education paired with equivalent professional training and experience.

• Must possess FSC CoC Lead Auditor certification.

• Relevant work experience in the timber and/or paper industries.

• Experience in auditing and commercial activities related to products, including preparing commercial proposals.

• Strong customer and commercial orientation.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, with developed presentation abilities and the capacity to engage effectively with senior government officials and top management.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and operate independently without close supervision.

• Proficient in computer use.

• Proficiency in English in addition to local language skills is advantageous.
