Cloud/Network Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the client's initial enterprise implementation of Databricks on AWS GovCloud.

• Develop and set up network connections among Databricks workspaces and AWS, Azure, Salesforce, ServiceNow, as well as on-premises systems.

• Create dependable connectivity patterns for a federal data engineering environment.

• Utilize private endpoints, VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and on-premises gateway patterns.

• Configure cloud networking elements along with AWS VPC design and routing.

• Support identity-related routing across various network zones and assist in workspace provisioning.

• Set up AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor for enhanced network visibility and logging.

• Collaborate with platform engineers, security teams, cloud architects, and other stakeholders on network architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud networking or hybrid connectivity.

• Proficiency with at least one prominent connectivity model such as Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or site-to-site VPNs.

• Understanding of fundamental routing and networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTPS.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with AWS or Azure monitoring tools.

• Public Trust clearance level required.

• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
