Cloudflare Consultant, 6-Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Manage and ensure all Cloudflare services are functioning effectively.

• Oversee configuration modifications and assist in resolving technical issues.

• Enhance the security of exposed applications by managing DDoS Protection, WAF, Rate Limiting, and Bot Management.

• Improve application performance utilizing CDN, caching strategies, and Cloudflare Workers and Pages services.

• Design and oversee Cloudflare deployments utilizing Terraform.

• Aid in integrating deployments into CI/CD pipelines.

• Facilitate the onboarding of new applications to the platform by establishing suitable configurations.

• Implement and oversee monitoring systems along with performance, availability, and security metrics.

• Create documentation, dashboards, and reports necessary for tracking activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with various Cloudflare services such as DDoS Protection, WAF, Rate Limiting, Bot Management, CDN, Cache Rules, Workers, Pages, DNS, or Load Balancing.

• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD practices, along with configuration industrialization and automation.

• Robust application security skills and a comprehensive understanding of modern web architectures.

• Expertise in HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, and DNS protocols.

• Capacity to analyze threats, recognize incidents, and execute suitable remediation measures.

• Experience in monitoring, supervising, and troubleshooting technical environments.

• Attention to detail, independence, a strong service-oriented mindset, and exceptional documentation capabilities.
