This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development of the comprehensive solution architecture encompassing Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure Government, data management, security, workflows, AI, search functionalities, and application components.
• Act as the primary technical expert for the project, guiding teams in platform, development, AI, data, security, and testing.
• Evaluate the current Microsoft environment, which includes SharePoint sites, document libraries, metadata, content types, permissions, records management, and integration limitations.
• Create secure integrations between SharePoint, Microsoft 365 services, Azure services, data storage solutions, workflows, search features, AI services, and user interfaces.
• Specify system boundaries, interfaces, configuration standards, deployment methodologies, identity models, and cross-platform technical strategies.
• Ensure that SharePoint serves as the primary repository while maintaining permissions, records management, metadata, and traceability of source documents.
• Confirm the availability, authorization, and technical constraints of suggested Microsoft and Azure services within government cloud settings.
• Establish or manage identity, role-based access, least-privilege permissions, secrets management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and auditing capabilities.
• Provide architectural oversight for ingestion, workflows, search functionalities, AI, and application integration without taking on full responsibility for hands-on component development.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, interface specifications, technical decisions, deployment instructions, and operational documentation.
• Assist with integration testing, troubleshooting, production deployment, administrator transition, and knowledge transfer.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity, or a relevant technical area.
• A minimum of six years of experience in designing, implementing, or integrating Microsoft enterprise and cloud solutions.
• Proficient experience in architecting solutions utilizing Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, or similar Microsoft technologies.
• Experience in designing integrations between document repositories, cloud services, databases, applications, identity services, workflows, or enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft identity, access control, security measures, logging, monitoring, secrets management, and secure service integration.
• Experience in leading technical architecture or coordinating tasks across various engineering, development, data, security, or platform disciplines.
• Capability to develop and articulate technical architecture, integration designs, configuration standards, deployment guidance, and operational documentation.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
