Cloud Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of AWS and Azure cloud projects across various client environments

• Lead the execution of cloud migration, implementation of cloud-native solutions, technology upgrades, DevOps execution, and initiatives for operational improvements

• Facilitate client project status meetings and provide updates on progress, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and subsequent steps

• Develop and maintain project plans, status updates, risk and issue logs, action trackers, meeting notes, and decision records

• Draft and assist with Statements of Work that encompass scope, assumptions, deliverables, effort estimates, dependencies, exclusions, and acceptance criteria

• Organize and coordinate both internal and client-facing project meetings

• Manage client stakeholders, technical teams, third-party vendors, and internal delivery personnel

• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests

• Conduct quality assurance on project deliverables

• Coordinate the transition of projects into operational support, including documentation, knowledge transfer, support processes, and service readiness

• Deliver succinct reports to internal management and client stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing IT, infrastructure, or cloud projects in client-facing settings

• Knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure project delivery methodologies

• Experience in cloud migration, platform implementation, delivery of cloud-native solutions, and technology upgrade projects

• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or a portfolio of work across diverse clients, teams, and priorities

• Strong stakeholder management capabilities with client sponsors, technical teams, vendors, and internal management

• Excellent written communication skills

• Experience in creating Statements of Work, meeting minutes, project reports, action logs, and governance documentation

• Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, issue management, change control, and quality assurance processes

• Self-motivated, organized, and focused on delivery

• Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification are desirable

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals would be advantageous
