Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud architectures

• Manage infrastructure, platform services, and application environments

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate environment configuration

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js/Express and MongoDB/Mongoose

• Construct and uphold web interfaces with Vue 3 Composition API, Vuetify, and Pinia

• Implement distributed solutions using Redis and queue systems such as BullMQ

• Design solutions for multi-replica and distributed settings

• Collaborate with architecture, development, QA, business analysis, and delivery teams

• Integrate the platform with Microsoft Graph, Outlook, Slack, Box, and other corporate solutions

• Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, event logging, and incident response

• Incorporate automated testing, security analysis, and quality controls into the pipeline

• Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides

• Promote best practices in DevSecOps and governance of AI-assisted engineering tools

• Standardize the platform to facilitate scalability and evolution as a product

• Design and implement agents, integration with LLMs, vector search, and RAG architectures

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience as a Cloud Engineer, Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar roles

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform

• Practical experience with GCP/GKE and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Cloud Build, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express

• Productive experience with MongoDB and Mongoose

• Experience with Vue 3 Composition API, Vuetify, and Pinia

• Experience with Redis and BullMQ or equivalents

• Experience with distributed architectures and multi-replica applications

• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, access management, secrets, and secure configurations

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Cloud Build, or similar

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or Pulumi

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or managed platforms

• Knowledge of application operation, deployments, production support, and incident response

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or Prometheus

• Automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalents

• Knowledge of APIs, OAuth, Service Principals, and SaaS integrations

• Experience in DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning, dependency management, and Secure SDLC

• Ability to document architectures, dependencies, and operational procedures

• Intermediate to advanced level of English

• Practical experience with LLMs in applications

• Knowledge of agent design and tool-use architectures

• Experience with vector search and RAG

• Experience with Pinecone or equivalent platforms

• Ability to integrate AI into enterprise applications and existing platforms
