This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.
• Deliver comprehensive consulting services related to compensation and design, implement, and/or manage compensation programs.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide insights as a market specialist regarding compensation issues for clients.
• Conduct evaluations of job roles and recommend appropriate internal placements, levels, titles, and FLSA classifications.
• Perform market pricing, select peer groups, analyze surveys, interpret salary data, conduct financial modeling, and engage in special research projects.
• Analyze data to establish suitable salary levels and job titles for both existing and prospective positions.
• Identify complex job-matching and data-related challenges, consulting with clients and associates to determine suitable resolutions.
• Keep the project manager informed regarding project status, any delays, or potential challenges.
• Assist in writing complex reports and proposals, ensuring materials are proofread for accuracy.
• Serve as a peer reviewer and mentor junior associates in research, data collection, and analytics.
• Take part in meetings with the client delivery team.
• Build client relationships and serve as a primary contact for client inquiries.
• Accompany project and client relationship managers during client meetings or teleconferences.
• A bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
• One to five years of progressive experience directly consulting with clients.
• Three to five years of relevant analytical experience, encompassing data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design.
• Strong technical proficiency and experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic programming knowledge is an advantage.
• Excellent critical thinking and data analysis skills.
• Capacity to identify suitable data-analytic techniques and tools based on project tasks and client needs.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and interpret data in a logical and systematic manner.
• Skill in visualizing and articulating complex issues and concepts.
• Capacity to detect patterns in intricate data sets and propose practical models.
• Understanding of laws and regulations affecting health care client populations.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure setting.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to contribute to complex project deliverables in a dynamic and evolving organization.
• Competence to work under tight deadlines or in response to changing requirements.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team framework.
• A strong sense of intellectual curiosity and a desire to acquire new skills.
• Preferred: A master's degree in a business-related field.
• Preferred: Certification as a Compensation or Benefits Professional.
• Preferred: Experience in a consulting, compensation, or health care-related firm.
