Clinical Vendor Manager – FSP

📋 Description

• Oversee all vendor-related components of global clinical trials independently.

• Achieve study objectives within established timelines, budget constraints, quality/compliance, and performance benchmarks.

• Supervise vendor service delivery at the study level.

• Collaborate with study team leaders and members throughout the entire study lifecycle.

• Evaluate vendor-related sections of the protocol during its development.

• Manage interactions with vendors in partnership with vendor-related functions.

• Assess quotes and proposals in collaboration with procurement and assist in contract negotiations when necessary.

• Contribute to amendments of vendor contracts.

• Monitor vendor expenses, review budgets, reconcile invoices, and finalize purchase orders.

• Ensure vendors adhere to quality and service-level expectations.

• Oversee vendor activities post-study initiation and in areas not addressed by the broader team.

• Initiate and coordinate vendor kick-off meetings and participate in supported-category meetings.

• Manage vendor-related tasks for database go-live.

• Conduct user-acceptance testing for eCOA and IRT.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing vendors throughout the entire clinical trial lifecycle.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.

• In-depth understanding of clinical operation processes and vendor management.

• Strong knowledge of GxP and ICH regulations.

• Proficient knowledge of clinical trial design and alignment with supplier requirements.

• Experience in user acceptance testing for eCOA and IRT.

• Familiarity with site collaboration and site activation processes.

• Proven experience in vendor management, outsourcing, contracting, and sourcing of clinical services.

• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.

• Patient-centered approach with a keen attention to detail.
