
Clinical Training Specialist β Clinical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Deliver in-person case coverage.
β’ Ensure all products and ancillary components are available for each case.
β’ Complete and process all necessary paperwork related to procedures.
β’ Monitor and report all customer complaints.
β’ Provide physicians and staff with the most up-to-date information.
β’ Manage a sufficient supply of disposable inventory to cover the assigned case load.
β’ Bring necessary products (including Microwave and Cryoablation generators) to cases as needed.
β’ Train and educate physicians and hospital staff on the use of assigned VIS products.
β’ Offer on-site clinical support during procedures while maintaining a "hands-off" approach regarding direct patient contact.
β’ Collaborate with customers and functional organizations to assess their training needs, utilizing engineering documentation such as Operators Manuals and DFUs to develop course content.
β’ May coordinate or lead training classes for customers and/or employees.
β’ May also conduct large group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows.
β’ May provide demonstration support for local, regional, and national customer trade events.
β’ Offer first-line product technical support.
β’ Provide assistance with new installations to ensure products function as specified.
β’ Deliver first-line technical service support with oversight from Engineering or Field Service Engineers when necessary.
β’ Collaborate with the VIS Medical Affairs Team.
β’ Assist Medical Education, Medical Information, and Medical Science Liaisons as required.
β’ Document daily interactions with physician customers.
β’ Supply competitive product performance information to headquarters marketing or engineering teams.
β’ Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
β’ Clinical background as an IR/CT Technician, Operating Room Nurse, or Surgical Technician is preferred.
β’ Experience and knowledge of IR suite, Operating Room Protocol, and Sterile Technique.
β’ Experience in supporting vascular procedures is highly regarded.
β’ Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures is highly regarded.
β’ Capability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
β’ Analytical mindset with a desire to solve problems.
β’ Team player.
β’ Ability to lift approximately 150 pounds.
β’ Willingness to travel regionally and locally (approximately 50%).
