Clinical Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, coordinate, and implement clinical training programs across both new and existing health center locations.

• Provide structured orientation sessions for Medical Assistants, clinical staff, and Providers.

• Facilitate on-site and virtual training for new clinic openings, incorporating workflow simulations and go-live support.

• Create and revise training materials, job aids, checklists, and policy-based educational resources.

• Collaborate with Area Managers, Clinical Leaders, and Operations to evaluate training requirements.

• Lead mock clinics, hands-on skills training, and provide real-time coaching during and after the launch of new health centers.

• Perform chart audits and clinical quality assessments to identify trends and deliver targeted remediation.

• Act as a subject matter expert on EMR workflows, clinical procedures, documentation, and best practices.

• Monitor training participation and competency validation in conjunction with the Training Coordinator.

• Keep updated with clinical practice guidelines, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.

• Engage in clinical onboarding processes for new hires.

• Assist with training initiatives focusing on quality improvement, patient experience, and EMR modifications.

• Offer peer coaching, mentorship, and support to both new and developing clinical team members.

• Aid in the development and execution of training strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Travel to health center locations as necessary, with an estimated travel requirement of 50%–75%.

• Adapt to an irregular schedule that may vary weekly and monthly based on travel demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must live in the Orlando, Osceola, Polk, or Brevard markets.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or a related health profession (e.g., MA, RT, LPN, RN).

• Current BLS/AED Certification.

• Child Clearance - Act 33.

• Criminal Clearance - Act 38.

• FBI Clearance - Act 73.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical role within primary care, urgent care, or a similar outpatient environment.

• At least 1–3 years of experience in formal training delivery.

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills catering to diverse adult learning styles.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to assess training needs, identify skill gaps, and offer constructive feedback.

• Proficient in EMR workflows, clinical documentation, and chart auditing.

• Skilled in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

• Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across various locations.

• Collaborative mindset with an aptitude for fostering positive working relationships with clinical and operational teams.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and navigate freely throughout clinical environments.

• Capability to lift up to 15 pounds.

• Willingness to travel between clinic sites, including overnight stays.

• Prolonged periods of work on a computer.
