This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +2 more states.
• Promote the use of AVITA products by providing education and advisory support related to formularies, protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct hands-on training for the RECELL System, covering indications, device setup, skin processing, dressing changes, and aftercare.
• Offer support during surgical cases and assist with dressing changes.
• Provide clinical assistance and training for customers on upcoming devices and products.
• Represent AVITA in the field and ensure customer satisfaction is upheld.
• Assist with cases beyond the assigned territory as necessary.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to identify customer requirements, product performance challenges, and sales opportunities.
• Implement clinical education programs for priority and target accounts.
• Act as a liaison with physicians and nurses regarding clinical needs, patient management, and product effectiveness.
• Support Marketing efforts during product development, launches, and promotions.
• Participate in national, regional, and local conferences.
• Meet quarterly with the CTS Director to evaluate performance, account progress, and the competitive landscape.
• Operate within established budgets and adhere to corporate policies.
• Perform administrative tasks using Salesforce, Insperity, and Concur.
• A degree in BS, NP, PA, RN/BSN, RN/MSN, or other relevant qualifications, with an active license in good standing.
• Ability to be vendor credentialed for all hospital burn & trauma centers, including Parallon and HealthTrust Verified Professionals.
• Required acute burn care experience, with hands-on clinical experience in burn units and/or experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• Proven ability to manage projects effectively from inception to completion.
• Direct experience working with customers, opinion leaders, operating room personnel, as well as broad exposure to the healthcare sector is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 60-70%) within the assigned territory, including weekly overnight trips by air and/or vehicle.
• Capability to cover accounts outside the designated territory as needed.
• Prior education and training experience in a clinical environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to plan, organize, close, and deliver results; capacity to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with burn surgeons, operating room staff, burn/trauma/ICU nurses, and sales personnel.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and lead initiatives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to convey product-related clinical information and evidence clearly and succinctly.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, creating action plans, and organizing meetings and schedules.
• Compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory standards is required.
• Adherence to universal precautions for infection control regarding blood-borne pathogens and infectious diseases is essential.
• Positions designated as RPP require medical clearance and successful completion of a fit test to wear a respirator.
