Clinical Specialist – Nordic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Offer scientific and clinical assistance to clients through presentations, product inquiries, investigations, and workflow guidance.

• Provide and customize professional services for laboratories throughout the Nordic region.

• Collaborate with Account Managers to convey the clinical and technical benefits of BD Specimen Management solutions.

• Facilitate customer education, product training, and the implementation of pre-analytical best practices.

• Organize clinical evaluations, studies, and post-market quality initiatives.

• Evaluate and relay scientific literature, industry advancements, and competitive insights.

• Assist with tender activities by offering clinical expertise and technical contributions.

• Keep track of emerging laboratory technologies, automation trends, and evolving diagnostic practices.

• Support clients, laboratories, and account managers across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

• Report to the Nordic Business Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.

• Experience in a clinical diagnostics laboratory, blood sciences, hematology, clinical chemistry, or a research setting.

• Understanding of the pre-analytical phase of laboratory medicine, laboratory workflows, and automation technologies.

• Ability to interpret and present scientific publications, clinical data, and technical information.

• Proficiency in English and at least one Nordic language.

• A keen interest in utilizing scientific expertise in a customer-facing role, which includes supporting education, training, and commercial activities.

• Willingness to travel frequently across the Nordic and Baltic regions, including approximately 60 to 90 overnight stays per year.

• A valid Category B driving license is required.

• An English CV is necessary.
