This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote the use of diagnostic testing by conveying its clinical and economic benefits to targeted physicians and healthcare markets.
• Implement territory strategy to meet and surpass sales objectives while increasing market presence.
• Provide education and training to medical office personnel on test ordering protocols and result interpretation.
• Tailor innovative, scalable, and reproducible solutions to fulfill account requirements.
• Collaborate with laboratory teams to pinpoint high-value targets and arrange meetings for product presentations.
• Take responsibility for territory performance, which includes account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and results tracking.
• Work alongside Business Development Executives to aid in large health system rollouts and strategic initiatives.
• Formulate and execute strategic sales plans.
• Manage key account relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction through consultative selling methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions and meet sales goals.
• Engage with customers through a mix of in-person visits and virtual interactions as a trusted scientific advisor.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Preferred areas of study include Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Marketing, Business, or a related scientific discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in laboratory sales, scientific, or healthcare sectors, or comparable relevant experience.
• Proven track record in medical sales, B2B technical sales, or military service.
• Capability to establish and nurture customer relationships at all levels.
• Technical expertise and the ability to comprehend customer applications and workflows.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Results-driven with a proven history of meeting sales targets.
• Highly coachable with a readiness to learn and adapt swiftly.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools such as MS Teams and Webex.
• Must reside within the designated territory or be within a reasonable commuting distance to a major metropolitan area.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, including drug screening.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms is preferred.
