This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Establish and cultivate the clinical field sales team within the designated region.
• Oversee and guide the clinical application of the da Vinci Surgical System within the current installed base.
• Manage the installation processes, training sessions, and growth of utilization in the assigned region.
• Recruit, train, and enhance the capabilities of the da Vinci Clinical Sales team.
• Serve as a clinical authority for specific da Vinci procedures.
• Create and execute clinical sales initiatives aimed at achieving and surpassing senior management's objectives.
• Increase clinical usage within existing accounts.
• Sell and educate new surgeons across relevant specialties.
• Oversee the training and educational activities within the installed base.
• Direct the processes for new system installations.
• Seek out opportunities for new system installations and upgrades.
• Provide the clinical sales team with information and updates on new products.
• Collaborate with Capital, Sales Support, Marketing, MACA, Genesis, Customer Service, Customer Success, and other supporting functions.
• Assist the assigned Clinical Sales team with closing deals, conducting sales presentations, and visiting customers.
• Work together with Government Affairs, Media, MACA, GAVE, Clinical Affairs, and Marketing teams on strategic initiatives.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a Clinical Sales team within the assigned territory.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and implement appropriate training plans.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a life sciences or business field.
• At least 8 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in medical device sales.
• Strong expertise in clinical sales along with solid business acumen.
• Proven history of setting clear expectations, defining objectives, and achieving results.
• Established experience in developing, coaching, and training sales professionals in the medical device sector.
• Demonstrated capability to build and lead a team effectively.
• Proven ability to function within a matrix organization and align diverse groups.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing remote sales teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and/or maintain a field presence, according to business requirements.
• Proficiency in English and German is mandatory.
