This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Promote Quest Cardiovascular products while overseeing the sales process through technical presentations, customer training, clinical support, and relationship development.
• Stay informed about cardiac surgery centers, their caseloads, cardiac surgeons, and perfusionists within your designated territory.
• Develop and uphold quarterly business plans that include target accounts and projected sales-process activities.
• Organize, schedule, and oversee clinical support activities.
• Document, summarize, and report product usage data from clinical evaluations, compiling it for sales presentations.
• Create, implement, and enhance product-training programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts while following up with current customers.
• Broaden sales opportunities and enhance individual and product credibility through customer interactions.
• Uphold a positive image of Quest Medical among hospital personnel.
• Diagnose and assist in resolving product usage challenges.
• Maintain regular communication with the sales team to refine the sales process.
• Oversee the sales and training process from the initial product launch to administration approval.
• Discover new applications and opportunities for product development.
• Motivate customer clinical research, presentations, and publications.
• Present through live or video communication channels.
• Travel approximately 75% of the time during work hours.
• Attend 90% of organized sales meetings.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential.
• A Master’s or advanced degree is highly advantageous.
• A minimum of five years of experience in cardiovascular clinical and/or biomedical engineering, or equivalent clinical sales experience.
• Preferably, experience in a cardiac surgery setting.
• A strong drive and desire to achieve, along with an opportunistic approach to sales.
• Excellent skills in building interpersonal relationships.
• An aptitude for, and commitment to, learning the complexities of intraoperative myocardial protection.
• A current and valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness and capability to travel 75% of work time.
• Must be available to attend 90% of scheduled sales meetings.
