Clinical Product Lead, MD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of clinical design in product areas, which encompasses care pathways, interventions, escalation criteria, safety parameters, and anticipated system behavior.

• Lead clinical product initiatives from the definition of problems through to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Convert clinical requirements into product specifications, acceptance criteria, and strategic product decisions.

• Review conversations involving AI agents and clinical progressions.

• Identify potential failure modes and delineate suitable system behaviors.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and clinical teams for effective cross-functional execution.

• Assess product performance and contribute to shaping the clinical product roadmap by utilizing feedback, data, and actual clinical needs.

• Emphasize product development instead of direct patient-care responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an MD or DO degree.

• Completion of residency training.

• Board certification or eligibility.

• Significant direct patient-care experience with robust clinical judgment.

• Background in healthcare technology, digital health, clinical software, or technology-enabled care.

• Strong product judgment with the capacity to translate clinical challenges into actionable product decisions.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, or other technical teams.

• Ability to work hands-on in a dynamic, fast-paced early-stage environment.

• Highly desired: experience in owning or developing a healthcare product or a significant product feature.

• Highly desired: background in an early-stage digital health, healthcare technology, or AI company.

• Highly desired: familiarity with AI-driven clinical products, generative AI, LLMs, or clinical decision support systems.

• Highly desired: experience in managing chronic diseases, primary care, cardiometabolic health, or longitudinal care.

• Highly desired: expertise in clinical informatics, EHR, or healthcare interoperability.

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
