Clinical Practice Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture clinical and scientific relationships with Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare professionals.

• Effectively communicate and promote Neurocrine’s scientific stance in accordance with the Medical Affairs strategy.

• Facilitate educational outreach regarding disease-state pathophysiology, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment options, with a focus on Community Mental Health Centers.

• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national advanced practice Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare providers.

• Recognize knowledge gaps across various clinical practice settings and provider types.

• Provide scientific education that aligns with the Medical Affairs’ scientific narrative.

• Collaborate with national and state professional organizations to enhance educational efforts.

• Keep abreast of literature and research within the therapeutic domain.

• Identify and suggest research opportunities and project sites.

• Act as a scientific resource and trainer for internal Neurocrine teams.

• Work alongside cross-functional partners on various initiatives.

• Participate in relevant medical congresses and share insights.

• Recommend field resources for Clinical Program Leaders (CPLs), including slides and publications.

• Complete mandatory reports and assignments by specified deadlines.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree, NP, CNS, PA or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR a PhD, DNP, or PharmD degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Understanding of best practices within the functional discipline and familiarity with broader underlying concepts of related business areas.

• Established reputation within the company concerning the area of expertise.

• Capability to work collaboratively and lead projects laterally.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to meet multiple deadlines across various projects/programs with precision and efficiency.

• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.

• Clinical expertise in Psychiatry or Neurology.

• Maintains professional licensing, including advanced practice licensure and certification as per individual state requirements.

• Ability to represent Neurocrine Biosciences (NBI) in a professional manner.

• Adherence to fiscal and compliance guidelines.

• Ideal candidate will reside in Washington DC or the greater Richmond, Virginia area, in proximity to a major airport.
