This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the “Pharmacist in the Family” to assist specialty members in managing their medications and health conditions.
• Interact with specialty members through phone, chat, and email to deliver a premium concierge experience.
• Aid members in enrolling in copay and patient assistance programs.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new specialty members, including helping with drug selection, conducting specialty clinical assessments, choosing specialty dispensing pharmacies, and providing clinical support throughout their care journey.
• Respond to member inquiries regarding pharmacy-related issues.
• Execute prospective and retrospective drug utilization reviews as well as comprehensive medication reviews.
• Suggest modifications to patients’ medication regimens.
• Collaborate with Rightway’s Navigation team to offer comprehensive support to members.
• Participate in Pharmacy & Therapeutics activities, which include researching, preparing, and presenting drug monographs, therapeutic category reviews, and clinical policy development.
• Ensure that processes comply with or exceed regulatory and best-practice standards.
• Assist in prior authorization reviews for specialty drug product selection and formulary compliance.
• Work with third parties to implement Rightway’s clinical pharmacy strategy.
• A degree in Pharmacy is required; a PharmD is preferred.
• Preference for candidates with Managed Care or specialty pharmacy residency experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in direct patient care, including roles in PBM clinical operations, Health Plan Pharmacy Departments, or specialty pharmacy.
• Must be a resident of the state where you are applying.
• Multi-state licenses are preferred, and candidates should be willing to obtain licensure in additional states.
• Availability on weekdays during core operating hours from 8 am Eastern Time to 8 pm Pacific Time is essential.
• Future evening or weekend shifts may be required.
• Be on call approximately once every two months.

• Must be an excellent clinician and an effective, creative problem-solver.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change is crucial.
