This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Deliver clinical services while promoting and selling Tandem Diabetes products within a designated territory.
• Collaborate with the Territory Manager to strategize and meet sales targets through the clinical acceptance of Tandem products.
• Identify and cultivate potential customers to build business relationships that support product and clinical services sales.
• Offer clinical and sales assistance, along with product education, to trainers, physicians, staff, and patients.
• Formulate strategies with the Territory Manager to tackle clinical issues and maintain existing relationships.
• Recognize sales opportunities and evaluate if prospecting criteria are met.
• Enhance Tandem’s market presence and distinguish its products and clinical services.
• Inform prospects and customers about healthcare trends, web-based solutions, Tandem products, services, outcomes, and population health management.
• Complete product training, documentation, and communication with healthcare professionals.
• Sustain professional relationships with healthcare practitioners.
• Execute initial and ongoing recertification for Tandem Pump Trainers.
• Partner with Customer Technical Support Specialists and Clinical Support Specialists to address post-sale product issues and patient education requirements.
• Keep CRM records updated for business activities within the assigned territory.
• Establish and uphold a territory call cycle.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, Privacy/HIPAA standards, and regulatory, legal, and safety obligations.
• Report on sales and business processes to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate with the Regional Clinical Manager on clinical responsibilities and compliance.
• RN (BSN preferred), RD, or RPh, or a comparable combination of education and relevant job experience.
• Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential: CDCES or BC-ADM certified or eligible.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in coordinating and delivering patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology.
• Experience with video remote education is preferred.
• Strong ability to connect effectively with patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in communicating as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems.
• Capable of presenting educational content clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced market.
• 1 year of relevant experience in the diabetes/endocrinology industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license, required auto insurance, and a clean driving record in accordance with company policy.
