This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers in driving sales demand by implementing marketing strategies and promoting Sobi products.
• Deliver up-to-date and comprehensive clinical knowledge regarding Sobi products and articulate their on-label clinical advantages.
• Implement Plan of Action marketing initiatives and convey branded sales messages effectively.
• Represent Sobi at local engagements and meetings.
• Meet or surpass sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Advocate for Sobi products and services to a specified customer base, fostering sales growth within the defined geographic area.
• Encourage the appropriate use of Sobi products among healthcare professionals, adhering to Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
• Create and execute a business plan for the territory.
• Analyze weekly sales data for the territory to prioritize physician targeting and ensure accurate reporting.
• Develop budget plans for customer interactions, local symposia, and other external expenditures within the territory.
• Identify and address issues and opportunities while communicating proactively with sales and marketing management.
• Report adverse events to Sobi's Drug Safety department as necessary.
• Perform administrative tasks, including documenting call activities, customer information, expense submissions, and maintaining timely records.
• Travel within the designated territory, including some overnight travel.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related science field.
• At least 5 years of dedicated hospital sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector.
• A minimum of 3 years of specialty sales experience within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in biologics sales through a specialty pharmacy, or 8 years of dedicated hospital selling experience.
• Familiarity with the transition of care/patient journey from hospital to outpatient settings.
• Proven track record of high sales performance.
• Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary processes.
• Strong work ethic with the capacity to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently across a large territory.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including potential overnight travel of 40–50%.
• Must be based in or near the specified geographic territory; relocation assistance will not be provided.
