This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding sales demand generation.
• Implement marketing strategies and advocate for Sobi products under the Regional Sales Director's guidance.
• Offer up-to-date and comprehensive clinical knowledge about Sobi products.
• Convey the on-label clinical advantages of the products effectively.
• Deliver branded sales communications to clients.
• Represent Sobi at local events and meetings.
• Meet or surpass sales objectives within the designated territory.
• Advocate for Sobi products and services to a specific customer segment.
• Drive sales growth within a designated geographical area.
• Promote the appropriate use of Sobi products to healthcare professionals in line with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
• Create and execute territory business plans.
• Analyze weekly territory sales data to prioritize physician outreach and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare budget plans for customer interactions, local symposia, and other external costs.
• Identify and address issues and opportunities as they arise.
• Maintain proactive communication with sales and marketing management.
• Report adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department in accordance with established guidelines.
• Carry out administrative tasks, including documenting call activities and customer information, as well as submitting expense reports.
• Collaborate across functions within a matrix environment.
• Must be located within or close to the assigned territory; relocation assistance will not be available.
• A BA/BS degree in business or science is required.
• Established relationships and a strong understanding of hospital systems in the territory are essential.
• Proven track record and solid knowledge within the GPO market segment.
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience in the rare disease sector.
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience with oral medications, specialty pharmacies, and HUBs.
• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated hospital sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of specialty sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of biologics sales experience using a specialty pharmacy, or 8 years of dedicated hospital selling experience.
• Familiarity with transition of care and patient journey processes from hospitals to outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated history of high sales performance.
• Experience with single-source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary processes.
• Working knowledge of Orals, Hubs, SPs, and Part D reimbursement processes.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a large assigned area.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight trips, potentially 40–50% of the time or 25–30% in some instances.
• Availability for some weekend work is required.
