This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain strategic business connections with oncology departments and practices, encompassing oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, executives, department heads, managers, and support personnel.

• Enhance understanding of product advantages and risks in line with approved labeling.

• Drive new business development, optimize resource usage, and expand sales and market share by fulfilling the sales objectives for designated oncology products and indications.

• Comprehend and address customer requirements while fostering relationships that generate market insights.

• Create compliant and innovative programs and initiatives.

• Establish and preserve account relationships that benefit patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals within the designated geography.

• Collaborate with internal and cross-franchise leaders to identify, design, and modify approaches and strategies.

• Deliver impactful on-label technical and scientific presentations utilizing approved data.

• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts and work in conjunction with AbbVie and co-promotion partners.

• Provide customer support, including site assistance and resolution of customer concerns.

• Design, implement, communicate, and update strategic and tactical business plans for targeted accounts.

• Conduct training for physicians and treatment teams on the approved and safe use of products.

• Monitor and report on sales performance.

• Maintain regular communication with internal and external partners.

• Serve as AbbVie’s primary contact for each account and ensure timely customer support coordination.

• Engage in clinician boards, societies, and healthcare professional meetings.

• Represent AbbVie and its products while conveying essential information to internal stakeholders.

• Stay informed about clinical, market, payer, oncology, and disease-area advancements.

• Complete necessary training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal guidelines.

• Identify critical information, express business implications, share knowledge, and apply best practices.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of approved product labels and disease-state knowledge.

• Optimize data, resources, and tools to identify sales prospects and program strategies.

• Participate in relevant organizational programs with Legal/OEC authorization.

• Utilize sales resources and tools to support sales strategies and enhance impact.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates should reside within the designated territory, including Lancaster, Harrisburg, Reading, Wilmington, and nearby areas.

• Possess business acumen and analytical skills to evaluate diverse data sets using multiple tools and define account/program strategies.

• Capability to address customer needs in a complex environment through innovative, forward-thinking strategies that align with both company and customer objectives.

• Proven leadership abilities and capacity to lead without direct authority.

• Experience in successfully guiding teams through complex projects or challenges to achieve desired outcomes.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a strong history of succeeding in challenging environments.

• Must be able to drive a personal or company vehicle, including trucks or powered material-handling equipment.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.

• Capacity to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.

• Prior oncology sales experience or oncology-specific clinical experience is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Experience in account management across any industry is preferred.

• Specialty pharmacy experience is preferred.

• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient-facing roles or consulting for healthcare companies, is preferred.

• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
