This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated Multiple Myeloma territory.
• Create and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Establish credible relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a unified customer experience.
• Assess territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer interactions.
• Complete necessary AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel roughly 25% of the time within the assigned geographical area.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, preferably in Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Determination and resilience with a proven record of success in challenging circumstances.
• Personal vehicle or company car/truck for transportation.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.
• Capable of fulfilling healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Frequent business travel by air or car is necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management across any industry.
• Familiarity with Specialty Pharmacy is advantageous.
• Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in patient interaction or consulting healthcare firms.
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles is desirable.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
