This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated oncology region.
• Formulate and implement a detailed business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Cultivate trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant and customer-centric interactions leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a unified customer experience.
• Assess territory performance by utilizing data, customer insights, and business analytics.
• Enhance territory execution to maximize long-term business impact.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer engagements.
• Fulfill necessary AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal guidelines.
• Continuously improve clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel frequently by air or car, approximately 25% of the time.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sector.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Tenacity and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving standards.
• Regular business travel by air or car is necessary.
• Capability to meet healthcare industry representative credentialing standards.
• Background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination may be required for facility access.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Oncology experience, particularly in hematologic malignancies, is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management across any industry is preferred.
• Specialty Pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Experience within the healthcare industry is preferred.
• People management or other leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
