
Clinical Account Executive – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic business partnerships with oncology departments and practices.
• Engage with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, executives, department heads, managers, and support personnel.
• Enhance awareness of product advantages and risks in accordance with the approved label.
• Generate new business opportunities, optimize resource utilization, and expand sales and market share.
• Comprehend and respond to customer requirements while providing market insights.
• Foster relationships across accounts to benefit patients, healthcare professionals, and physicians.
• Collaborate with internal and cross-franchise leaders to identify, create, and modify compliant programs and strategies.
• Deliver on-label technical and scientific presentations utilizing approved data.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for designated accounts within the assigned region.
• Work together with Brand and Strategic Marketing, GPO, Thought Leader Liaisons, MSLs, and contracted SPPs.
• Provide site assistance and resolve customer concerns.
• Develop, implement, communicate, and revise strategic and tactical business plans.
• Facilitate training for physicians and treatment teams on the approved and safe use of products.
• Monitor and report on sales progress.
• Coordinate customer support and follow up on inquiries.
• Attend and engage in clinician boards, societies, and meetings for healthcare professionals.
• Represent AbbVie and assigned products at industry events.
• Share essential information and findings with internal stakeholders.
• Keep track of clinical, market, and payer advancements in oncology.
• Complete mandatory training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Identify critical information and communicate its implications for AbbVie and its customers.
• Transfer knowledge and apply standard best practices across assigned indications and brands.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of approved product labels and relevant disease states.
• Utilize data, resources, and tools to pinpoint sales opportunities and formulate program strategies.
• Engage in relevant organizational initiatives with Legal/OEC approval.
• Leverage selling resources and tools to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Candidates must reside within the territory, including Lancaster, Harrisburg, Reading, Wilmington, and nearby areas.
• Possess business acumen and analytical skills to evaluate diverse data sets using various tools and define account/program strategies.
• Capable of addressing customer needs in complex environments through innovative strategies that align with company and customer goals.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to lead without direct authority.
• Experience in developing teams on intricate projects or challenges to achieve results.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Tenacity and resilience with a strong history of succeeding in challenging situations.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Must fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, including potential background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Preferred experience in oncology sales or oncology-specific clinical roles.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Preferred account management experience in any sector.
• Specialty pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
