This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated oncology territory.
• Create and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategies and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centered interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance by analyzing data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
• Complete all necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continually enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Support brand objectives and business goals related to CLL and NHL oncology products.
• Travel around 25% of the time.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical devices, or diagnostics.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Tenacity and resilience with a proven history of success in demanding environments.
• Personal vehicle or company-provided car/truck.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Capability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing criteria, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Regular business travel by air or vehicle.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies.
• Experience in account management across various industries.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy operations.
• Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in patient interaction or consulting for healthcare companies.
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
