This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated oncology territory in Los Angeles.
• Create and implement a detailed business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer needs.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance by analyzing data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer interactions.
• Complete all necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Support brand goals and business objectives for CLL and NHL oncology products.
• Travel roughly 25% of the time.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals/biotech, medical devices, or diagnostics.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Tenacity and determination with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car.
• Capability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies.
• Account Management experience in any sector.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy.
• Background in the healthcare industry, especially in patient interaction or consulting for healthcare companies.
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles.
• MBA or another advanced degree is advantageous.
