This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma brand within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement a territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements by leveraging in-depth scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics.
• Enhance execution across field teams to maximize sustainable business impact.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, professionalism, and adherence to AbbVie policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Complete all mandatory AbbVie training programs.
• Continuously improve clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology or hematology is required; familiarity with Multiple Myeloma is strongly preferred.
• Strong competitive selling capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates persistence and resilience with a proven track record of success in challenging situations.
• Capability to drive a personal vehicle, company car, or truck.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and adhere to safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or vehicle.
• Capable of meeting healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations/vaccinations.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in account management is preferred.
• Background in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Experience within the healthcare industry is preferred.
• People management or leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred.
