This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategies and addresses local customer requirements.
• Establish reliable relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Engage customers in a compliant manner, focusing on their needs while utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a cohesive experience for customers.
• Assess territory performance by leveraging data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold exemplary standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer interactions.
• Fulfill all necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Engage in ongoing development of clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated Multiple Myeloma territory.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharma/biotech sector.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is mandatory; experience in Multiple Myeloma is preferred.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a history of success in challenging situations.
• Possession of a personal vehicle or a company car/truck along with a valid driver's license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Ability to satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may entail background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in account management is preferred.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• People management or other leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
