This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated Los Angeles Central territory
• Formulate and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and caters to local customer requirements
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to offer seamless customer experiences
• Assess territory performance utilizing data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements
• Fulfill mandatory AbbVie training and follow company policies along with OEC/Legal procedures
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership competencies
• Propel Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business targets
• Travel approximately 25% of the time
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, preferably in Multiple Myeloma
• Strong competitive selling abilities
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Tenacity and resilience with a proven success record in challenging situations
• Personal vehicle or access to a company car/truck
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and adhere to safe driving standards
• Willingness to travel regularly by air or car
• Compliance with healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations/vaccinations
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies is preferred
• Account Management experience is preferred
• Experience in Specialty Pharmacy is preferred
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred
• Experience in people management or leadership is preferred
• MBA or another advanced degree is preferred
