This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the Fresno territory focused on Multiple Myeloma.
• Create and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and local customer requirements.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology, preferably with a focus on Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging circumstances.
• Access to a personal auto or company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and fulfill safe driving qualifications.
• Capability to meet healthcare industry representative credentialing criteria, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations/vaccinations.
• Regular business travel by air or vehicle is expected.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies is advantageous.
• Experience in account management across any industry.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy operations.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient interaction or consultancy with healthcare companies.
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles is a plus.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
