This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated Multiple Myeloma territory.
• Formulate and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements by leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance utilizing data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel frequently by air or car, with travel requirements estimated at 25% of the time.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, preferably in Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling capabilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Personal vehicle or a company car/truck is required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
• Willingness to engage in regular business travel by air or car.
• Ability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies is preferred.
• Previous account management experience is preferred.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• People management or other leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
