This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated territory focusing on Multiple Myeloma.
• Create and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Engage in ongoing development of clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Travel frequently by air or car, with an expected travel commitment of 25% of the time.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology, preferably with a focus on Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• A valid driver's license is essential.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car regularly.
• Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing standards, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Preferred: Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
• Preferred: Account management experience in any sector.
• Preferred: Background in specialty pharmacy.
• Preferred: Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly working with patients or consulting healthcare businesses.
• Preferred: Experience in people management or other leadership roles.
• Preferred: MBA or another advanced degree.
