This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie's Multiple Myeloma brand within the designated territory.
• Create and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish reliable relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-centric engagements utilizing in-depth scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to provide seamless customer experiences.
• Analyze territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete necessary training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, particularly in Multiple Myeloma.
• Proven competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a solid history of success in challenging environments.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company-provided car or truck.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car.
• Capability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies is preferred.
• Preferred experience in account management.
• Specialty pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Prior experience in people management or other leadership roles is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
