This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated Multiple Myeloma territory.
• Create and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Foster trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance by utilizing data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Commit to ongoing development of clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, preferably in the area of Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Personal vehicle or company car/truck required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully clear pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving criteria.
• Willingness to travel regularly by air or vehicle.
• Capacity to meet healthcare industry representative credentialing standards, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies is preferred.
• Experience in account management within any sector is advantageous.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy is a plus.
• Background in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient interaction or healthcare consulting, is beneficial.
• Leadership experience or people management skills are desirable.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
