Client Solutions Consultant, Yardi IM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, optimization, and continuous use of Yardi solutions for clients in Investment Management.

• Engage in comprehensive implementation tasks, including discovery, requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.

• Provide guidance to clients leveraging expertise in fund accounting, property accounting, and real estate investment operations.

• Comprehend client investment structures, ownership arrangements, financial processes, reporting needs, and operational workflows.

• Convert accounting and business requirements into Yardi configurations, workflows, reporting solutions, and implementation strategies.

• Analyze systems and business processes to pinpoint inefficiencies, control gaps, configuration issues, and areas for improvement.

• Facilitate data conversion, preparation, validation, reconciliation, and migration tasks.

• Aid in the integration and flow of financial data between property-level accounting and investment or fund-level reporting.

• Oversee or assist with system testing, User Acceptance Testing, defect resolution, and rollout initiatives.

• Provide tailored system and process training for clients.

• Contribute to the development, validation, and enhancement of financial and operational reports.

• Keep project documentation that details requirements, decisions, risks, testing outcomes, and configuration specifics.

• Build client relationships through prompt service, trusted counsel, product adoption, and the identification of further value opportunities.

• Collaborate with team members across the UK, US, Europe, and APAC regions.

• Travel to client sites as necessary for implementation, training, or advisory services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of direct experience working with Yardi in areas such as accounting, systems, implementation, administration, support, or consulting.

• Proficient knowledge of Yardi Voyager and essential Yardi accounting functionalities.

• Solid understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and accounting controls.

• Familiarity with property accounting and the concepts and processes of fund or investment accounting.

• Capability to grasp real estate ownership structures and the relationships between property activities, investment entities, funds, and investor reporting.

• Experience collaborating directly with clients, customers, or internal business stakeholders.

• Proven background in gathering requirements, managing projects, resolving issues, or enhancing processes.

• Skill in converting accounting and operational requirements into system configurations, workflows, reports, or technical specifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data review, discrepancy identification, root-cause analysis, and practical solution proposals.

• Excellent project organization skills with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and client obligations.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in explaining accounting and system concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative, responsive, and accountable within a globally distributed team.

• Previous experience with Yardi Investment Management or Investment Accounting is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Yardi Investment Management solutions, consulting or professional services, real estate funds, joint ventures, partnerships, investment vehicles, ownership structures, consolidations, investor reporting, or additional Yardi modules is considered advantageous.
