This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing utilization of Yardi solutions for clients in Investment Management.

• Engage in full-cycle implementations, which include discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.

• Provide guidance to clients leveraging knowledge of fund accounting, property accounting, and real estate investment operations.

• Comprehend investment structures, ownership arrangements, financial processes, reporting needs, and operational workflows.

• Convert business and accounting requirements into Yardi configurations, workflows, reports, and implementation strategies.

• Analyze systems and business processes to pinpoint inefficiencies, control gaps, configuration challenges, and areas for improvement.

• Assist in data conversion, preparation, validation, reconciliation, and migration tasks.

• Aid in the integration of financial data between property-level accounting and investment or fund-level reporting.

• Oversee or assist with system testing, User Acceptance Testing, defect resolution, and rollout efforts.

• Provide tailored system and process training to clients.

• Create, validate, and enhance financial and operational reports.

• Maintain project documentation that includes requirements, decisions, risks, testing outcomes, and configuration specifics.

• Build client relationships through prompt service, trusted advice, product adoption, and value-added opportunities.

• Collaborate with colleagues across the UK, US, Europe, and APAC regions.

• Travel to client locations as necessary for implementation, training, or advisory services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience with Yardi in accounting, systems implementation, administration, support, or consulting.

• Proficient knowledge of Yardi Voyager and fundamental Yardi accounting functionalities.

• Solid understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and accounting controls.

• Familiarity with property accounting and concepts associated with fund or investment accounting.

• Ability to comprehend real estate ownership structures and their relationships with property activities, investment entities, funds, and investor reporting.

• Experience in direct interactions with clients, customers, or internal business stakeholders.

• Proven experience in gathering requirements, managing projects, resolving issues, or enhancing processes.

• Experience in translating accounting and operational needs into system configurations, workflows, reports, or technical specifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data assessment, discrepancy identification, root-cause analysis, and practical recommendations.

• Excellent project organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client obligations.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to communicate accounting and system concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative, responsive, and accountable in a global team environment.

• Experience with Yardi Investment Management and/or Yardi Investment Accounting is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting Yardi Investment Management solutions is preferred.

• Previous experience in consulting or professional services is preferred.

• Knowledge of real estate funds, joint ventures, partnerships, investment vehicles, ownership structures, consolidations, or investor reporting is preferred.

• Experience with Yardi P2P, PayScan, System Administration, reporting tools, data conversion, Forecast Manager, or Construction Manager is preferred.

• An accounting qualification or progress towards a recognized accounting qualification is advantageous but not essential.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, teachable, and willing to learn new areas.
