This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the primary contact for current elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors.
• Oversee relationships for plan accounts and financial advisors to guarantee effective service experiences, product improvements, and plan retention.
• Offer consultative guidance and support as a dedicated liaison for coordinated strategies between clients and financial professionals.
• Enhance plan retention by taking ownership, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
• Safeguard, secure, and appropriately manage confidential data from Ascensus and clients.
• Exhibit a proactive client-centric approach, collaboration, and alignment with Ascensus’ corporate culture.
• Utilize industry expertise to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and organic growth.
• Build strong working relationships with daily client contacts and C-level executives.
• Take charge of resolving issues escalated by clients and financial professionals.
• Advocate for clients and financial professionals by liaising with internal departments at Ascensus.
• Assess existing business to uncover retention opportunities and devise strategies for non-elite advisors.
• Create educational and communication strategies for assigned accounts.
• Identify cross-sell revenue opportunities and inform financial professionals and plan sponsors about products, processes, and services.
• Gather data, monitor communications and escalations, and enhance plan design and product/service adoption.
• Lead or partake in initiatives that generate additional value for existing relationships.
• Analyze data from clients and financial professionals and conduct outreach, including call campaigns, to fortify relationships and increase share of wallet.
• Maintain proficiency with both partner and proprietary Ascensus products.
• Stay updated on regulatory, financial, accounting, service, operations, and compliance aspects of relationship management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in the retirement services industry or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of prior experience with direct client/client equivalent relationships within a financial services administrative environment.
• Certification or working towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) in industry-related studies program is preferred.
• Ability to function independently and contribute to a highly cohesive team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work with a high degree of independence.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Capability to make informed business decisions while balancing client needs and organizational objectives.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including experience in group presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize and lead meetings attended by senior-level personnel in both internal and external settings.
• Proven project management skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
