This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients, existing customers, teaming partners, and industry contacts within the federal sector.
• Act as a representative of Seamless Migration during client meetings, partner discussions, industry events, networking opportunities, and business development conversations.
• Regularly engage with customer contacts to maintain robust and ongoing relationships.
• Organize and oversee recurring monthly interactions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Discover new business prospects, assess customer needs, recognize upcoming requirements, and identify areas for company growth.
• Articulate Seamless Migration’s capabilities, technical advantages, past performance, and overall value proposition to clients and partners.
• Document customer interactions, meeting summaries, action points, opportunity developments, and follow-up tasks.
• Contribute to internal business development and capture strategy by providing customer insights, opportunity updates, and relationship notes.
• Collaborate with leadership, recruiting, capture, and operations teams to align client needs with organizational capabilities.
• Assist in preparing business development documentation, partner forms, customer records, and opportunity tracking.
• Stay informed about federal customer priorities, partner activities, contract vehicles, and forthcoming opportunities.
• Enhance Seamless Migration’s visibility in the federal contracting arena.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, customer engagement, recruiting, staffing, capture support, or a comparable relationship-oriented role.
• Excellent communication abilities and the capability to establish rapport with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Comfortable engaging with prospective clients and maintaining regular communication with current contacts.
• Strong organizational skills for monitoring conversations, next steps, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks.
• Interest in federal contracting, technology services, cleared staffing, or mission support.
• Ability to confidently and professionally represent a small, rapidly growing company.
• Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders, technical teams, recruiters, customers, and partner organizations.
• Self-driven and consistent in outreach, customer engagement, and relationship management.
• Capable of supporting basic business development documentation, partner forms, meeting notes, and opportunity tracking.
• Must reside in the Virginia, D.C., or Maryland area.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings, partner discussions, and industry events.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Security clearance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Existing connections in federal contracting, the intelligence community, government services, or cleared technology services are advantageous.
• Experience in supporting business development for a government contractor is a plus.
• Familiarity with cleared staffing, IT services, ServiceNow, infrastructure, cloud, cyber, DevOps, Red Hat, VMware, or related technical service domains is preferred.
• Experience attending industry days, networking events, client meetings, or partner briefings is a plus.
• Knowledge of opportunity tracking, CRM tools, GovWin, SAM, FPDS, contract vehicles, or federal procurement processes is beneficial.
• Prior experience working with small business federal contractors is advantageous.
