This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Account Leader in crafting and implementing account strategies that foster growth and profitability.
• Assume direct responsibility for designated accounts, focusing on new business development, bid pursuit strategies, and negotiation of commercial contracts.
• Facilitate bid pursuit meetings and collaborate on proposal strategy with cross-functional team members.
• Create proposal narratives and executive summaries that showcase integrated solutions and demonstrate return on investment.
• Recognize client needs and devise innovative, consultative solutions leveraging Parexel's expertise, operational strengths, and technologies.
• Establish strong relationships with senior client management to encourage repeat business.
• Stay informed about Parexel's services and value propositions to uncover cross-selling opportunities.
• Translate client needs and expectations to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to pinpoint new opportunities and ensure account expansion.
• Track competitive activities, positioning, and pricing to guide strategy.
• Formulate pricing strategies that secure business while achieving financial, profitability, and contractual objectives.
• Work in conjunction with SBU Delivery, Solutions Consultants, Sales Support, Business Operations, Finance, and Legal.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Several years of experience in a pharmaceutical services environment, ideally within a CRO, Life Sciences company, or a consulting background focused on Life Sciences.
• Proven ability to manage accounts, formulate business strategies, and implement commercial initiatives.
• Strong grasp of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strategic and consulting capabilities to assist clients in maximizing both short- and long-term drug development objectives.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively at senior management levels.
• Demonstrated commercial insight and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Solid comprehension of drug discovery, development principles, and clinical research methodologies.
• Experience in presenting, packaging, and proposing integrated solutions that illustrate value and return on investment.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to influence and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment and respond swiftly to evolving business needs.
