Client Relations Team Specialist – Private Risk Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address incoming client service inquiries for accounts ranging from small to large.

• Respond to client inquiries about coverage via email and phone.

• Assist in the new business issuance process according to carrier guidelines and company standards.

• Re-evaluate accounts to ensure coverage aligns with client requirements.

• Provide advice and guidance on risk exposures.

• Examine inspection reports for coverage precision and potential loss prevention concerns.

• Offer direction to resolve claims-related issues.

• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in interactions with clients, the firm, and carriers.

• Develop a working knowledge of insurance company partners, contracts, requirements, and system functionalities.

• Present the firm's comprehensive platform, which includes employee benefits, commercial insurance, and asset protection.

• Stay updated on industry offerings.

• Work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to collective service objectives.

• Handle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and report discrepancies or issues to the appropriate leadership.

• Adhere to the firm’s behavioral principles and operate in alignment with Baldwin's corporate culture.


⛳️ Requirements

• Valid state insurance license as mandated by the State Department of Insurance, or the ability and willingness to acquire all necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment.

• College degree is preferred.

• Professional designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC) are advantageous.

• Over 3 years of experience in personal insurance, including knowledge of insurance company contracts, guidelines, proprietary insurer systems, and claims.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Capacity to learn firm and carrier software applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong multitasking abilities, thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.

• Proactive and determined approach, taking the initiative in professional contributions.

• Displays accuracy and dependability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
