This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform national client priorities into a practical strategy for the Central region and ensure cohesive execution throughout the sales organization.
• Act as a strategic collaborator with client leadership across the Central region.
• Facilitate client business reviews, planning sessions, performance updates, and strategic conversations.
• Deliver comprehensive insights into Central region performance, including risks, opportunities, trends, and suggested actions.
• Formulate the overall strategy for the Central region in collaboration with the client, wholesaler leads, C.A. Fortune leadership, and partner agencies.
• Collaborate with AWG and UNFI Conventional wholesaler leads to address performance, distribution opportunities, customer dynamics, and priorities.
• Align wholesaler strategies with downstream retailer business leads and ensure effective execution.
• Discover opportunities for expanding distribution, enhancing promotional productivity, resolving assortment gaps, and fostering incremental growth.
• Establish accountability and ownership, track progress, and manage risks or gaps.
• Oversee Central region planning, evaluating shipments, consumption/POS, distribution, promotional performance, forecasts, inventory, and trade investment.
• Transform data into actionable strategies and adapt plans as business conditions evolve.
• Directly manage, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of three members.
• Lead through influence across C.A. Fortune, CA Carlin, wholesaler, retail, planning, insights, operations, and client teams.
• Set up operational rhythms, coordinate requests and action items, and ensure adherence to reporting requirements, deadlines, and commitments.
• Enhance processes, communication, accountability, and client service.
• Over 8 years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, brokerage, client management, sales leadership, or a related field.
• Proven capability to create strategies and translate client priorities into actionable business plans.
• In-depth knowledge of the grocery and CPG go-to-market landscape, including the dynamics between manufacturers, wholesalers/distributors, brokers, and downstream retailers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing direct reports.
• Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to weave sales, POS, distribution, forecasting, promotional, and syndicated data into a broader business narrative.
• Established ability to build trusted relationships with senior client and internal leadership.
• Capacity to identify business risks and opportunities, providing clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong executive presence, with the confidence to lead strategic conversations and present to senior audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-through abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's Degree (not mandatory but preferred).
• Previous experience leading a national or regional CPG client partnership (preferred qualification).
• Familiarity with AWG, UNFI, and/or KeHE ecosystems (preferred qualification).
• Experience coordinating across multiple broker or agency organizations to implement a unified client strategy (preferred qualification).
• Knowledge of syndicated data sources including Nielsen, Circana/IRI, or SPINS (preferred qualification).
• Experience with trade promotion management and forecasting systems (preferred qualification).
