Client Manager – Group Benefits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as the main day-to-day liaison for a specific portfolio of clients, addressing their insurance requirements with minimal supervision.

• Spearhead the renewal and remarketing initiatives, working with carriers to obtain optimal coverage and pricing.

• Offer consultative support to clients regarding coverage gaps, policy frameworks, and strategic insurance choices.

• Supervise the onboarding process of new accounts, which includes gathering and analyzing underwriting information.

• Resolve intricate client issues in collaboration with underwriters and internal teams.

• Handle endorsements, claims queries, audits, and various other service-related tasks.

• Keep thorough and precise client records in AMS360, documenting all servicing activities diligently.

• Guide or assist junior account team members as necessary.

• Remain updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes affecting clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in managing insurance accounts, ideally in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health sectors.

• Demonstrated capability to manage a portfolio of business and cultivate long-term client relationships.

• Strong grasp of carrier underwriting standards and coverage documents.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in AMS360 or similar agency management software.

• Active insurance license(s) in relevant lines (P&C and/or L&H) is mandatory.

• Detail-oriented with robust time management skills and the capacity to work autonomously.
