This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee and nurture relationships with current commercial insurance clients

• Evaluate and examine insurance policies to guarantee adequate coverage and compliance

• Facilitate policy modifications, renewals, and endorsements for insurance accounts

• Perform risk assessments and offer recommendations for risk management

• Collaborate with underwriters and insurance providers for policy placement

• Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to coverage

• Supervise and ensure adherence to DOT regulations and insurance prerequisites

• Prepare insurance documents, certificates, and policy summaries

• Formulate and execute strategies for client retention

• Keep precise client records and documentation in the CRM system

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License is mandatory

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance, particularly in trucking/transportation insurance

• In-depth understanding of commercial trucking insurance products and coverage options

• Strong grasp of DOT regulations and requirements for transportation compliance

• Expertise in managing insurance policies and conducting risk assessments

• Familiarity with CRM software and the MS Office Suite

• Outstanding account management and client service capabilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

• Proficient in both written and verbal communication

• Awareness of risk management practices within the transportation sector
