Client Manager – Group Benefits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for a specified portfolio of clients, addressing their insurance requirements with minimal supervision.

• Drive the renewal and remarketing efforts, working collaboratively with carriers to obtain the best coverage and pricing.

• Offer advisory support to clients regarding coverage deficiencies, policy frameworks, and strategic insurance choices.

• Supervise the onboarding process for new accounts, including the collection and analysis of underwriting information.

• Resolve complex client issues by collaborating with underwriters and internal teams for efficient problem-solving.

• Handle endorsements, claims inquiries, audits, and other service-related tasks with meticulous attention to detail.

• Leverage AMS360 to ensure thorough and accurate client records while documenting all servicing activities.

• Provide mentorship or assistance to junior account team members as necessary.

• Remain updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes that affect clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance account management, ideally in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health sectors.

• Demonstrated capability to manage a book of business and cultivate long-term client relationships.

• Strong knowledge of carrier underwriting standards and coverage forms.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in AMS360 or similar agency management software.

• Active insurance license(s) in the relevant areas (P&C and/or L&H) is required.

• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
