This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Oversee the delivery of products and services to producers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture relationships with producers, clients, home office, and field office personnel.
• Initiate and implement amendments as necessary.
• Provide support for service delivery and case onboarding.
• Address contractual and procedural inquiries.
• Conduct training sessions for brokers and clients.
• Manage changes in broker of record and the associated transfer of caseloads.
• Oversee the renewal process for true group cases comprising 10–99 lives.
• Achieve or surpass targets related to premium, case retention, and profitability.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the designated block, contributing to sales objectives.
• Organize workload while adhering to guidelines for customer responsiveness and timely work completion.
• Engage in training sessions and team huddles.
• Provide assistance to less experienced colleagues.
• Attain goals for professional growth and development.
• Carry out administrative duties that support general office operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience in employee benefits, account management, sales support, customer service, or a similar role.
• Possession of a Life and Disability insurance license for the resident state; this license must be obtained within 6 months of the hire date and kept up to date.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance contracts, statutes, tax regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to condense or rephrase contract language, reports, and other complex topics into clear, understandable language, both in writing and verbally.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and verification of employment, education, and licensing.
• Must be bondable.
