This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Support the Business Manager in achieving shared business objectives between Acosta and designated clients.
• Monitor downstream execution for significant clients.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaborate with the marketing team.
• Analyze key performance metrics.
• Assist in the development of promotional strategies.
• Execute post-promotion evaluations.
• Create and present sales presentations.
• Offer tactical and strategic communication for smaller clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored for smaller clients.
• Assist in planning promotions, tracking their execution, and conducting post-promotion analysis for smaller clients.
• Provide marketing insights and category assessments for smaller clients.
• Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 1 year of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Sales Support.
• Knowledge of the sales process, contract documentation, and client promotional systems.
• Experience in preparing and delivering presentations, including addressing questions.
• Development of negotiation strategies and tactical techniques.
• Ability to access and interpret IRI/AC Nielsen data.
• Conduct post-promotion assessments and manage categories.
• Capability to devise profit and volume strategies and comprehend financial statements.
• Understanding of order processing, inventory management, and distribution methods for clients and customers.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 6+ hours daily.
• Proficient in using a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged durations.
• Capable of lifting and carrying light items, typically over 20 pounds.
• Occasionally reach, bend, or stoop.
• Maintain focus and attention for extended periods during desk work.
• Follow clear instructions.
• Consistently perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Strong analytical and comprehension skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Previous sales experience.
