This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and maintain consistent professional communication with client representatives to strengthen relationships.
• Investigate and address client inquiries and requests promptly.
• Provide information regarding benefits programs.
• Conduct assessments and offer advice on compliance issues.
• Aid in the preparation of materials and collateral for client meetings.
• Engage in client discussions, documenting conversations and action items.
• Supervise the implementation of new vendors and carriers.
• Examine carrier, vendor, and plan documents along with contracts.
• Keep in touch with carrier and vendor representatives to advocate for clients and resolve issues.
• Develop short- and long-term employee communication strategies with clients.
• Create member-facing materials that explain benefit program features.
• Facilitate in-person, virtual, and telephone sessions for plan participants.
• Provide clients with updates on carrier and vendor partner features and services.
• Contribute to the operations of the client service team and adhere to deadlines.
• Relay client updates to team members while maintaining the task management system.
• Oversee job flow and ensure accuracy of outcomes for the assigned Account Coordinator.
• Support other team responsibilities as necessary.
• Must obtain and retain a state life and health license in accordance with IMA standards.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employee Benefits, preferably with large, complex accounts.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, InDesign, and Box.
• Capable of learning and working with agency/client management systems and related software and technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently and with precision, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate written and oral communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Competence in presenting information in person and virtually to groups.
• Intermediate organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• High level of diplomacy and tact while maintaining confidentiality.
